Anthropologie is a great store to check out, not only for its bohemian style, but for the free-spirited vibe inside. It has unique clothes perfect for those with a more boho-chic style as well as a great energy that adds to the shopping experience.
“I love shopping [at Anthropologie] because from the minute you walk in you get this amazing ambience. From the decor, to the scent, and the beautiful clothes, everything about it gives me inspiration,” said Olivia Kelley, a sophomore letters and sciences major. “I love this store in particular because not only can you get super trendy, everyday pieces, but I was also able to get my senior prom dress there!”
Urban Outfitters is one of the most popular places to shop for millenials. Despite becoming more mainstream, Urban is known for not only having that hipster style, but also for selling plenty of decor for dorms, as well as modern records and book collections. A go-to for many college girls, this is a no-brainer to stop into on your next shopping trip to Georgetown.

Ella-Rue is a vintage, consignment shop filled with the most well-known and upscale brands. From Louis Vuitton, to Gucci and Chanel, this is a great chance for college students to buy those high-end styles at a more affordable price. It is known for having an East Coast vibe according to the Georgetowner, and it is designed in a way that would resemble a fabulous, A-list celebrity’s closet. This fun, top-line store is great for college girls with expensive taste that do not want to break the bank achieving their desired style.
Affordable Boutique:
LiLi the First holds not just American styles, but designs and trends from all over the world. Exclusive to Georgetown, this small boutique owned by Ifat Pridan provides unique and chic options you can not find anywhere else.

Georgetown is an awesome place for University of Maryland students to go because the College Park metro station makes it accessible for a girls day out. Uber is always an option as well, as rates can go down a considerable amount depending on the time and day, but is usually anywhere above or below $20, which split between four of your besties would make for a $5 trip for some great shopping! Next time you are looking to gain some unique and trendy pieces, Georgetown is a great, easy place to get to and sure to have all that you and your girlfriends are looking for!
